Take a photo of a sudoku puzzle in a newspaper, magazine or screen grab and start playing (or solving!) it instantly. Play the puzzle on the photo or switch to a conventional puzzle grid if you wish.
Photo Sudoku does away with number keyboards, enter numbers by stroking the squares in the direction shown by the arrows in the App icon. Super fast and intuitive. The simplicity of a pencil and paper experience combined with advanced help, hinting and instant solutions.

This program used to work, but it still crashes every time it starts under iOS 10.2 (iPhone 6s Plus). Developer says he only responds to email, but there is no email address to request support. Can occasionally get it to start with 3D Touch.
Was so happy & hopeful to find a new sudoku scanner - and now so disappointed! After scanning, the application shuts itself down (tried several times). Hope you can fix this.
This is magic, scan worked 100% on the sample games & is the best scanner Ive found so far. I love the swipe entry of numbers, miles faster than a keyboard. Well done devs!
